Electric Wheelchair Bed

The Electric Wheelchair Bed combines a nursing bed with a detachable, caregiver-pushed wheelchair section for everyday care. Powered backrest adjustment supports sitting up for meals and care routines, while manual leg positioning and toileting functions offer practical flexibility.

Functions

• Electric backrest adjustment: One electric actuator raises the backrest from 0–70°. As it rises, the side bed panels move inward to form a semi-enclosed sitting position for lateral support.
• Manual leg adjustment: +20° to −65° for elevated or lowered leg positioning.
• Detachable wheelchair: Two latches secure the wheelchair section to the bed frame. It detaches for caregiver-assisted movement and includes a safety belt. The wheelchair is not electrically propelled.
• Manual toileting function: Toilet opening with bedpan frame and quick-release conversion tool.
• Flat position: Supports hair-washing routines using the included basin.
• Extendable dining table: Easy-clean ABS tabletop with recessed trays at both ends.

Construction and comfort

• Bed-frame load capacity: 240 kg. This is the bed-frame rating, not a separately confirmed wheelchair user-weight rating.
• Leg-section support load: 100 kg.
• Side rails: 1150 mm aluminium alloy rails with five posts, locking mechanism and wood-grain finish; fold flat for access.
• Headboard and footboard: Tool-free removable ABS boards with wood-grain accents. Footboard includes a medical record card holder.
• Bed castors: 12 cm dual-row soft-tread castors with brakes.
• Wheelchair castors: 10 cm soft-tread castors with stainless steel components and brakes.
• Mattress: 6 cm total thickness, combining 4 cm coconut coir and 2 cm high-density foam beneath a soft fabric cover.
• Wheelchair cushion: Wipe-clean leather covering.
• Frame: Welded steel construction with a powder-coated finish.
• IV pole: Height-adjustable stainless steel pole with four hooks; folds for storage at the headboard.
